What do I do

Small business and not for profits struggle now more than ever.  There are so many things like websites, service delivery, grant writing, HR, compliance and training staff that the smaller operations just don’t have expertise to get it done. 
Or you get the few executive staff, trying to do it all with the accompanying burnout.
This is where I come in. For the last 5 years I have specialised in Grant and Tender writing in the community services space.  I have also developed and delivered training packages for upskilling staff, especially around the compliance and service delivery space, as well as work systems and report writing. 
I have over 30 years experience in the community services not for profit sector including but not limited to:
  • NDIS and disability support and advocacy
  • Aged Care and Support for older Australians
  • Housing and Homelessness prevention services
  • Job skilling and employment services
  • CaLD specific and targeted grant and program development
  • RTO support
  • and Arts organisations.

The advantage to you is that I already have a good grounding in the basics of all of these industries which cuts down on research and program development (and ultimately grant writing which saves you money).  I have developed and implemented projects in most of the above and am conversant with the Program Logic model preferred by State and Federal Finance departments when providing business cases and program outlines. I have developed budgets for these programs and can certainly do a draft budget that you can use as a basis of the budget for any grant application. (Often people don’t realise that you will be kept to the services you outlined in your proposal even if you didn’t budget enough to deliver them)
